From the 2010s, particularly from 2017, Matsutani makes a bold use of colour (green, yellow, blue…). But he remains faithful to graphite, creating monumental installations such as Stream-Venice for the 2017 Venice Biennale, or Stream-Pompidou for his major retrospective exhibition at the Centre Pompidou, Paris, in 2019.
